Outlook
Express Configurations
Please
follow these instructions to add a mailbox in Outlook Express. You do
not have to be connected to the Internet to create a mailbox.
If the Dial-up Connection box appears, you can click on Work Offline.
Double click the Outlook Express
icon on your desktop. Click Tools and a drop down box will appear, click Accounts.

Click the Mail
tab (shown below).
Then click the Add button and select the Mail.
The Internet Connection
Wizard will appear.

Type your name as you wish it to
appear on your E-mail messages

In the E-mail address box, enter your E-mail address with @jamadots.com.
Click Next

POP3
should default as your incoming mail server.
Incoming
mail server: pop.jamadots.com
Outgoing
mail server: smtp.jamadots.com Click Next.

Account
Name: your E-mail address without @jamadots.com.
Enter your Password remembering it is case sensitive, please use all
small letters,
click Next.

You
will get a message the following message:

Click
Finish which will bring you back to
the screen below.

Repeat these same steps to create additional
mailboxes. Close after you have created all your mailboxes. You can
check for E-mail messages by clicking the Send/Received button on the tool bar.
First time users may get a ‘Choose Connection Type’ screen. If you
do, choose ‘Connect using my phone line’ and press Next.
Choose ‘Use an existing dial-up connection, click on jamadots, and
press Next. Click Finish to
complete configuration.
How to delete a Mail Box
You
will need to delete any mail accounts still
dialing into your old
account:
1.
Double click Outlook Express.
2.
Click Tools at the top of the screen.
3.
Click Accounts.
4.
Click the Mail Tab at the top of the
screen.
5.
Click once on the mailbox you wish to delete, this will highlight it.
6.
Click the Remove button to the right.
7.
It will ask you if you are sure you want to delete, click yes.
8.
Close your Internet Accounts Screen.
