Update Outlook SMTP Settings

Open Microsoft Outlook.
Click on Tools.
Click on Email Accounts.
Click on ‘View or change existing e-mail accounts’.
Press ‘NEXT’.

Click on your email address to highlight and click ‘CHANGE’.

Change the outgoing mail server (SMTP) setting
          From:      mail.jamadots.com
          To:          smtp.jamadots.com

Select ‘More Settings…’

Choose the ‘Outgoing Server’ Tab

Place a UNCHECK next to ‘My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication’.

Be sure “Use same settings as my incoming mail server” is selected.

Press ‘OK’
Press ‘NEXT’.
Repeat for each email address.
Press ‘FINISH’ when all addresses have been changed.

Your account is now ready to send and receive mail outside the jamadots network.   Either the pop.jamadots.com or the smtp.jamadots.com setting in the ‘Outgoing Mail (SMTP)’ field will work if you are within the jamadots network.
