Update Outlook Express SMTP Settings


Open Outlook Express.
Click on  ‘TOOLS’.
Click on ‘ACCOUNTS’.
Click on the ‘MAIL’ Tab.
Click on your first Account to highlight it.
Click on ‘PROPERTIES’

Click on the ‘Servers’ Tab.

Change the ‘Outgoing mail (SMTP)’ settings:
          From:   mail.jamadots.com
          To:      smtp.jamadots.com

 

Also under the Outgoing Mail Server section Unckeck the box next to ‘My server requires authentication’.

Press ‘OK’.

Repeat for each email account.

When you are finished with all accounts, you can close the Internet Accounts screen.

Your account is now ready to send and receive mail outside the jamadots network.  Either the pop.jamadots.com or the smtp.jamadots.com setting in the ‘Outgoing Mail (SMTP)’ field will work if you are within the jamadots network.
